The Rokeby Rifle and Pistol Club is approved by the Home office, and is affiliated to the National Smallbore Rifle Association (the governing body of small-bore shooting in this country).
The Rokeby Rifle and Pistol Club provides the facilities for it's members to engage in target shooting. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in competitive target shooting.
We meet at Rugby School's range where we have facilities for .22 smallbore rifle, air rifle and air pistol shooting.
The Club can provide all the equipment that is required for shooting, and has qualified GBTSF coaches and NSRA Club Instructors.
Target shooting is a sport that can be successfully participated in by most people. Age and sex are almost irrelevant to the success of a shooter. Natural ability is not important in order to become a good shot. Shooting is one of the few sports where determination, personal practice and effort will permit almost anyone to compete successfully at a high level if they so wish. On the other hand there are many people who enjoy shooting at their local club.
